Oak Hill Farm spans 115-acres on the south face of Oak Hill which is located on Bill Merrill Mountain. The 1300 ft. summit is a 45-minute hike from our doorstep. We keep a broad path mowed to the pond near the top. The final leg of the hike is steep and can feel like bushwhacking. The views from the summit are breath taking and well worth the climb. Visitors are also encouraged to cross the Troll Bridge to explore the 10-acre Birch Meadow sugarbush. Guests bring their own sleds during the winter to enjoy a rollicking ride down the lawn.
We consider ourselves the lucky ones. We thrive in outdoor environments and have dreamed of a type of farm and piece of land that we would be able to share with the community. We are avid hikers, bikers, crafter and learners, we never stop, which you will understand when you meet us! We are discovering what works best for this land and will continue to maintin the stewardship as we add our own touch and talents to the hill. As we learned from Art and Sue, "we don't necessarily consider that we "own" the 105 acres of ertical landscape in the foothills of the white mountains, but rather that we have been entrusted with the care of the land and are bound to work with the gifts, energy and direction it has given us." We hope to provide you all with exceptional experiences on our property and share with you, what we think is the best maple syrup! - Sam and Nate
High Acres Sugarbush has been producing for over 25 years, a homegrown business which now provides maple syrup to local businesses - please check out Krista's in Cornish, ME, Lindsay's at the Cornish Inn, and Max's Restaurant at the Snowvillage Inn in Eaton, NH. You'll be in for a treat!

My sister and nieces stayed here for a 3 day weekend and it's gorgeous. Peaceful surroundings and very nice people. If you like the woods and peace n quiet, this is the place to stay. Almost forgot, the lodges are very clean and comfy with books, movies, puzzles and games. Great place. :)

My 2 sisters, neice and great neice had a fabulous stay at Wolf cabin. The beds are comfy, roomy bathroom, screened in porch are just some of the wonderful qualities. Our hosts were fun, seems like I’ve known them for years, warm and welcoming. Thumbs up….5 BIG stars. Oh…I’ve traveled all over the world and if I give something 5 stars, I mean it. Sam and Nate were amazing and so helpful! There are a few paths on the property including one that goes up to a summit with beautiful views. Definitely grab some of their syrup and ask to see the sugarhouse. Their process is fascinating to hear!
